Japan Statistical Yearbook 2026
Chapter 2 tables supply age-group population estimates, 2020 census household figures, and 2023 live birth and death rates.
Method. Official tables are transcribed into a reviewed snapshot. We verify 47 prefectures, numeric completeness, prefecture-code order and representative source values before publishing. Missing values are omitted rather than estimated. Snapshot reviewed 2026-10-08.
