What we publish
We organize public statistics into prefecture profiles, rankings and side-by-side comparisons. Calculations such as rankings and differences are generated from reviewed data. We keep explanations brief and identify the source and year on each data page.
The current release uses a reviewed snapshot from the Statistical Handbook of Japan 2026. We plan to add sources one at a time after checking their definitions, rights, update schedules and missing values.
